There will never be enough words to describe the way watching Audrey Hepburn made me feel the first time I saw her in film. Even now, after having lost count, each one of her many roles evokes a feeling that is something truly special; let’s call it the Audrey effect. If I could, I would say thank you for making me laugh when all I wanted to do was cry, thank you for making me cry when I really needed to, thank you for inspiring me to continue to write, and thank you for showing me that I can achieve anything if I give it my damnedest.

Happy birthday Audrey Hepburn.

  1. Audrey Hepburn has and always will be the Queen of My Heart as far as actresses are concerned. I went into a ragging fit of tears when I heard that she died. But thankfully she’s placed enough of a mark on this planet that we will always remember.

    Happy Birthday Audrey!

    1. I only discovered her in my early teens, which wasn’t that long ago, but I am so very glad that I did. She has been the greatest role model, and has provided me much comfort when I have needed it.
She will never be forgotten, she was a genuine treasure.
